Angela Lauria {on expanding your container}

This week, we're tackling the topic of expanding your container. By this, we mean the concept of expanding your capacity to hold more in your life... whether it's more abundance, more joy, more intimacy, more responsibility, or more of anything you desire. We discuss our own understanding of how to approach this type of expansion, even though admittedly, we don't {yet!} have all the answers.  Our guest, Angela Lauria, joins us to talk about the ways she has expanded her container - even when it was scary or risky. She shares the revelations she made, the setbacks she faced, the internal work she did, and the steps she took in order to reach a higher level of expansion and be comfortable in that new bigger, bolder space.

Top Three Takeaways:

  1. Expanding your container is more about approaching your current situation with an energy of expansion. + possibility rather than seeking a way out of dissatisfaction by constantly pushing for the next thing you desire.
  2. Investigate your desires and the "problems" you want to address in your life. Why do you want what you want? What’s really behind the desire, at its root? That's really what you want to address.
  3. When making a decision you believe will expand your container, watch the energy around the decision. Are you operating out of dissatisfaction with something that's underlying your desire? What will become uncomfortable if you decide yes?  Are you ready? What is readiness for you? What are you willing to do once you're there?
