Danielle LaPorte {on living your white hot truth}

This week's episode is all about living your truth– so fully that it burns white hot and disrupts the darkness. In this very special one-year anniversary episode of Be Amplified: the podcast, we're joined by Danielle LaPorte– author of White Hot Truth, speaker, poet, and invited member of Oprah Winfrey's inaugural SuperSoul 100. Danielle offers her sage advice about both spirituality and business, she riffs with us on how to bring more light into the world, and speaks about the importance of using your voice and not staying silent while also recognizing that there's a time and a place for everything.

Top Three Takeaways:

  1. Bringing light doesn’t always have to be about focusing on the positive. It also doesn’t have to look like social activism or fierce crusading. Sometimes, just being kind and loving to the person you’re in opposition with is the biggest disruption to the status quo.
  2. Take a stand for what you believe in and don’t be silent – but at the same time, remember that there is a time and place for everything. There are times when it’s not your place to voice your opinion, or where it’s better to be more flexible.
  3. Spirituality has nuance. Acknowledge that others may not see the light the way you do. Remember that both light and dark exist, and keep up your practice so you’ll be prepared to choose light when it comes down to it.
