Top Three Takeaways:

  1. The dark night of the soul experience can feel incredibly painful, uncertain, debilitating, and isolating. Don't try to avoid the pain or discomfort, or avoid looking at the reasons or catalysts for it. Shine a light on it.  The more you can look at your shit, the better.
  2. Reminding yourself that you are not a victim to circumstance, and that you have a choice about how to see what the dark night of the soul experience is showing you, and an opportunity to transform and heal if you feel into it, may help you in moving through it.
  3. Spiritual crises, slowdowns, and pains may continue as you evolve as a spiritual being. After all, we're human too.  Even after healing or transformation, we pick up things along the way that we later need to clean up and shed off.  Let yourself feel into the pain and give yourself space to do so.
