This week, we're diving into the art of listening - both on the external level {of listening to others} and the internal level {of listening to ourselves}. We discuss how presence and intimacy are key to listening, and increasing your awareness of how these issues play out in various areas of your life are also key. In this episode, we share tools and tips to help you become a better listener and to reap the benefits of being a  good listener. We're joined by women's leadership mentor, Luna Love, who shares how to listen on a deeper, energy-based level to be of the most service to others, yourself, your community, and the collective of our humanity. 

About the Guest

Luna Love is a Women’s Leadership Mentor, assisting those called to be change-makers in the world, in achieving clear vision for their lives by providing supportive, life-promoting experiences, practical tools and spiritual wisdom to align one’s divine essence, authentic expression and life-purpose. She creates transformative experiences for her clients through the power of self-awareness and self-love.

Luna facilitates online courses, group coaching, workshops, immersion programs and retreats to support her clients in devoting themselves to themselves, and serving the world from that place. Additionally she works as a counselor at a leading holistic drug and alcohol rehabilitation center and writes for numerous online publications. Most of all Luna is devoted to walking her path in the beauty way.

  1. Take note of when listening (to yourself or others) is uncomfortable. Notice when you have the urge to fill silence or to direct your attention elsewhere. Notice when you are more concerned about something elselike what to say next, or how you'll be perceived than about listening. 
  2. Listen on an energetic level as well as a physical one. Try to focus on what resonates in your body, your mind, your spirit as well as what you're hearing or seeing.  
  3. Give yourself space to listen: schedule space + time into your life to listen to yourself, and in conversations, give space for silence, without immediately filling the gaps.
