Vicki Saunders {on conscious consumerism}

In this episode, Bri and Thais talk about the power of consumption, the power our money has in our current economic models, and the untapped potential that women hold around money, consumption, and investment – in themselves and one another.  Like it or not, in our current economic model, capital and money hold huge power.  On some level, we are all consumers, so we all have this power. But more importantly: what we consume, where our money comes from, where it's held, where it goes.... all of this affects us – and our world– on an energetic level.  In this episode, we invite you to become conscious about your consumerism. Joining us, our guest Vicki Saunders expands on why conscious consumerism is so important and epic for women and the world.  She explains that the current economic systems were not built to support women, but also sheds light on the untapped potential and power available if women begin activating around their capital- using it & using it differently- to support other women, to contribute to good causes, and to begin building new systems.

Top Three Takeaways:

  1. What we consume affects us on an energetic level, and the energy behind how we spend our money affects us and our world.
  2. Become conscious of your consumption and the statement you're making with your money. Look at where you're spending, holding, and investing your money and what you're consuming.  Do the research!  If you find something you want to change, consciously decide what you're willing to do about it.
  3.  If we begin using the power of our money and capital to begin consciously contributing to new + innovative business models and investment methods, and entrepreneurial environments that let women thrive, we can ultimately change the world.
